Chris Bell - Poppies In Moonlight

Born in 1960, Chris studied Art and Photography at University. His fascination with colour and achieving the vibrancy he produces through his art took many years of exploring a range of media. His method derives from applying tints and colours to iron free toughened glass which is then oven baked. This allows the pigments to grow, fuse and merge resulting in exceptionally bold colourful artworks.

Now living in Dorset, his work is mainly the harbours and quays of the country coast.
